Man stabs co-worker during argument at Trader Joe’s warehouse, Pennsylvania cops say
An argument between co-workers at a Trader Joe’s warehouse escalated when a 39-year-old man pulled out a knife, according to Pennsylvania State Police and local news outlets.
The two were working the evening of Oct. 22 in the Trader Joe’s warehouse in East Allen Township when the man stabbed his co-worker several times, Pennsylvania State Police told WFMZ.
During the altercation, Cristian Burgos Vasquez stabbed the man in the arm and the two fell to the ground, court documents said, according to Leigh Valley Live. The man continued to stab the victim three more times, according to the report.
McClatchy News reached out to Trader Joe’s but did not immediately receive a response.
Burgos Vasquez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, WFMZ reported.
The victim was taken to a hospital, officials told WPVI. His condition is unknown.
State police are continuing to investigate.
East Allen Township is about a 70-mile drive north from Philadelphia.
