This ‘big grownup playground’ of a house lists for $4M in Wisconsin. Check out the fun
A home that is a wild combination of sophistication and pure fun has landed on the real estate market in Madison, Wisconsin, for $4.25 million.
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom “showstopper” of a house has three ways to go from the second level to the main — stairs, an elevator and a slide, the listing on Zillow.com says.
Of course, the home has other standout features across its 6,113-square-foot interior including:
Built-in Teppanyaki grill
Formal and informal dining spaces
Napoleon fireplace
Game room
Theater room
Two laundry rooms
Private balcony
Green roof
Three-car garage
But none of those really mattered to fans of the popular real estate Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild, who were bedazzled by the home’s child-like environment.
“Oh, to win the lottery and get a house like this…” one person said.
“Traveling to the main floor is a daily adventure, no doubt,” another observed.
“Came here for the slide. Stayed for the hammered tub,” someone commented.
“This place is perfect to me,” one person said. “I wouldn’t change a thing, including the slide. I just need someone to spot me a few million.”
“This home is beautifully well done!” another commented. “The indoor slide is the least weird thing I’ve seen in here and I’d totally have one if I could.”
“I am so curious about the couple who put this house together,” someone said. “A mixture of style, taste, and wheeeeeeee!”
“As a 37-year-old grown woman, I can confidently say, I would use that slide every single day!” another noted.
“An elevator AND A SLIDE?!?!” one person said. “I would never use the stairs again. I love that this is just a big grownup playground.”
“Finally, a metal slide that *won’t* burn your legs in summer!” another observed.
Madison is about 79 miles west of Milwaukee.
