The La Jolla home of former Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez has listed in the posh San Diego neighborhood for $16.4 million.
Built in 2010, the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom Hamptons-style home has jaw-dropping views of the Pacific and has a coastal apropos open floor plan that one commonly sees in seaside residences. Privacy is also an essential component of the fully gated 9,726-square-foot estate, the listing says.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Gonzalez bought the property in 2010 for $7.2 million when he was playing for the San Diego Padres.
The five-time All-Star was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2000 MLB draft by the Florida Marlins. He made his professional debut in 2004 with the Texas Rangers, who had traded for him a year prior. He was traded to the Padres after only one season and won two Gold Glove Awards with the team. He also played for the Dodgers from 2012 to 2017 and the New York Mets in 2018.
He announced his retirement from the pros in February.
