Family home of the late Bob Saget lists for $7.7 million in California. Take a look

The sleek family home of the late comedian Bob Saget has hit the real estate market in Los Angeles, California, for $7.76 million.

The six-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home measures 6,608 square feet and has a sophisticated warmth that flows throughout. It’s also equipped with Elan smart home technology — thanks to Saget himself.

“Bob was very into tech,” the home’s listing agent, Adam Saget, said in a news release. Adam is also Saget’s nephew. “Over the years he put in smart house controls and automation throughout the home.”

Other fine features of the property include:

  • Grand motor court

  • Three-car garage

  • Swimming pool

  • Spa

  • Barbecue entertainment area

  • Primary suite vaulted ceilings

  • Hardwood flooring

  • Sky-lit two-story living room

  • Eat-in kitchen

  • Guest house

There’s also an unassuming privacy about the home.

“When driving into the property, the mature manicured landscaping offers a peaceful and tranquil setting, it doesn’t feel like you are in LA,” Adam said in the release. “I also really like the privacy of the home — from the street, a passer-by would have no idea what’s behind the gates.”

Saget became “America’s Dad” after starring in the hit ABC sitcom “Full House,” which aired from 1987 to 1995, and he also starred in its sequel series, “Fuller House,” which premiered on Netflix in 2016.

Following the end of “Full House,” Saget turned to stand-up comedy, was the narrator in “How I Met Your Mother,” and got behind the camera with the nature documentary spoof “Farce of the Penguins,” Biography said.

Netflix is premiering “A Tribute To Bob Saget,” a celebration of the actor’s life in comedy, on June 10.

Saget died in January 2022. He was 65.

The beloved home was cherished not only by the comedian, but his family as well.

“Personally, I’m going to miss our family gatherings and holiday celebrations we shared together in the home,” Adam said. “So many great stories, lots of laughs and memories to cherish for years to come.”
