Second North Texan wins $1 million in Texas Lottery scratch-ticket game

A Grand Prairie resident claimed a top prize-winning ticket worth $1 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game $1,000,000 Crossword, according to a Texas Lottery news release.

The winning ticket was purchased at Starfield Market, located at 2335 Main St. in Buda.

The lucky Dallas-Fort Worth resident, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed the last of six top prizes in this game, according to the release.

Last month, an Arlington resident claimed the first $1 million top prize in the same scratch ticket game, according to the lottery commission.

The scratch-ticket game $1,000,000 Crossword offers more than $229.3 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.41, including break-even prizes, the lottery commission said.
