Fatal crash on U.S. 287 near downtown Fort Worth; traffic lanes re-open
A fatal traffic crash on U.S. 287 near Rosedale Street and downtown Fort Worth caused all northbound lanes to close Monday morning, according to a Texas Department of Transportation social media post.
Fort Worth police responded to a call about the crash around 10:15 a.m. Monday. Upon arrival, officers found a driver inside a vehicle that was trapped under a truck, a police spokesperson said.
The investigation into what led to the crash is ongoing.
All lanes have now re-opened, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
