Two drivers die in Northwest Highway 287 crash in Fort Worth, police say

The drivers of two sedans died early Wednesday in a crash on a highway in north Fort Worth, police said.

The cars crashed about 2:25 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Northwest U.S. 287 near Harmon Road.

No one beyond the driver was in either car, and both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released the names or ages of the drivers.

Police did not release other information about the crash. The department’s traffic unit is investigating.
