3 children injured, 1 critically, in crash near I-30 in east Fort Worth

Three children were injured, one critically, after a crash near Interstate 30 Saturday night in east Fort Worth, police said.

Officers responded to the crash about 11:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of Woodhaven Boulevard, just north of I-30, police said in a statement.

When officers arrived they found a vehicle with multiple occupants involved in a crash, police said.

Three children were taken to a local hospital. Two had non-life-threatening injuries, while a third juvenile sustained serious, “possibly life-threatening injuries,” according to police.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and further details about what led to the crash have not been released.
