17-year-old arrested in Fort Worth armed robbery, another suspect at large

A 17-year-old man was arrested after an armed robbery in Fort Worth early Sunday and another suspect remains at large, police said.

Alberto Rincon faces charges of aggravated robbery and evading arrest, according to Tarrant County court records.

Officers responded about 5 a.m. to a possible robbery and carjacking in the 5800 block of Village Course in southeast Fort Worth, police said.

When officers arrived they learned that a man was robbed of his vehicle and shoes by two armed suspects, police said.

Police said officers located the vehicle using the description provided by the victim.

Rincon and another person driving the vehicle drove off, leading to a police chase.

The driver crashed the vehicle, which caught fire and Rincon was taken into custody, police said.

The driver ran from officers and has not been arrested, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
