A person who was firing gunshots in a Fort Worth neighborhood early Sunday was arrested following a standoff with SWAT, police said.

Dylan Killpack, 25, faces a charge of deadly conduct with a firearm, according to Fort Worth jail records.

Fort Worth police officers responded to the reports of gunshots fired shortly before 6 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Bewick Street, police said.

When officers arrived, they were able to determine where the shots were coming from as Killpack was still shooting into the air, police said.

Killpack then ran inside the home and barricaded himself, police said.

After several attempts to get the person to come out, the SWAT team entered the home and took him into custody, police said.

Killpack was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. No officers or people in the neighborhood were injured, police said.
