A 28-year-old North Texas man was sentenced to two life terms in prison for sexually assaulting a child, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release Monday.

A Tarrant County jury found Micheal Lee, 28, guilty of two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, the release stated.

Lee contacted a 16-year-old girl through social media on Dec. 29, 2024, and chatted with her before persuading her to meet in person. She left her home the morning of Dec. 30 to meet him, the DA’s Office said.

The next day, the girl told her mother that Lee sexually assaulted her, officials said.

Arlington police investigated the case.

The jury learned that Lee had previously sexually assaulted two other underage girls whom he had also contacted online, according to the release.
