‘Landman’ co-creator to discuss series at Fort Worth’s Lone Star Film Festival
Just a couple weeks before “Landman” season 2 premieres on Paramount+, the show’s co-creator will be in Fort Worth to discuss the series.
The Lone Star Film Festival revealed its full schedule Thursday with “Landman” co-creator Christian Wallace slated to speak at 5 p.m. on Nov. 2. The Fort Worth-filmed series premieres Season 2 on the streamer on Nov. 16.
Wallace’s discussion is titled “From Podcast to TV Show” and will be about how he adapted his Texas Monthly podcast, “Boomtown,” into “Landman.”
The conversation will also delve into the “challenges of remaining true to the essence of a story while reaching new audiences through film and television,” according to the festival. Former Texas Monthly editor Wes Ferguson will interview Wallace at the free event at Fort Works Art (2100 Montgomery St.).
Paramount released the official trailer for “Landman” Season 2 this week, which promises more explosive action on and off “the patch” this season.
