New ‘Landman’ Season 2 trailer features many Fort Worth locations. Here’s where
After a teaser last month, Paramount has released the official trailer for “Landman” season 2.
The Fort Worth-filmed show spent much of the spring and summer filming in and around North Texas. Sam Elliott joins the cast for the second season, which returns to Paramount+ on Nov. 16.
A teaser just over a minute in length was revealed in early September, but now a full trailer at nearly two and a half minutes is out.
Watch the full video below and stick around for a breakdown of the Fort Worth locations featured in the trailer.
Fort Worth locations in ‘Landman’ Season 2 trailer
A quick glimpse of the Fort Worth skyline is seen just a few seconds into the trailer.
Next, Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) is seen walking in the Frost Tower lobby at 640 Taylor St. The 96-by-90-foot TCU mural off Fifth and Throckmorton streets can be seen just over Tommy’s left shoulder.
Cami Miller (Demi Moore) is seen crouching and crying in the trailer around the 11-second mark. It’s unclear where this location was filmed at, but in Season 1, Cami’s house is located at 1200 Western Ave. near the River Crest Country Club.
Around the 30-second mark in the trailer, a car is seen driving through the gates of a mansion. This was filmed at the former home of ex-RadioShack CEO Len Roberts at 4400 Overton Crest St. The home was auctioned off for $5.2 million in 2023.
At 52 seconds, Angela (Ali Larter) is tossing plates at Tommy and Cooper (Jacob Lofland) at what appears to be a party celebrating Ainsley’s college acceptance to TCU.
A purple and white TCU-branded balloon is seen and we know that the production filmed scenes on TCU’s campus for Season 2. The scene appears to be filmed at the same house Tommy lived in Season 1, which is located in north Fort Worth at 12035 Vista Ranch Way.
At the 1:12 mark, Cooper parks his truck at Ariana’s house. While the house is located in the Midland-Odessa area, the filming location is in Benbrook at 1103 Park Center St.
At 1:25, Tommy chats with Ariana (Paulina Chávez), who appears to be working at the Patch Cafe. The familiar location was used frequently in Season 1 as the local watering hole for oil men and women. The set is located in west Fort Worth at 9840 Camp Bowie West Blvd.
Around the 1:41 mark, T.L. (Elliott) is seen punching a guy at what looks to be Will Rogers Memorial Center.
It’s unclear if the location is a stand-in for a similar venue in Midland-Odessa or the real locale in Fort Worth at 3401 W. Lancaster Ave. A sign for the Weatherford-located Cowboy Trailer Sales is also in the frame.
At 1:52, the Fort Worth Herd cattle drive is seen in a quick shot. The twice daily cattle drive travels down East Exchange Avenue in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The Stockyards was also featured in the show’s first season.
