One person was killed and three people were critically injured when several vehicles crashed in Fort Worth early Sunday, police said.

Officers responded to the crash just after midnight in the 5800 block of Boat Club Road, police said.

Police said one person died at the scene and three people were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the person who died after their next of kin has been notified.

Traffic investigators are working to determine the circumstances that led to the crash, police said.
