27-year-old woman killed in crash with semi-truck in east Fort Worth

A woman died Sunday afternoon when her car was hit by an 18-wheeler near the intersection of Trinity and Post Oak boulevards in far east Fort Worth.

Fort Worth police were called to the scene of the crash shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday, police spokesperson Officer Bradley Perez said in an email to the Star-Telegram.

Police found the woman’s sedan overturned at the intersection, according to a 911 call log.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, Perez said. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as 27-year-old Megan Linderman.

Fort Worth police are investigating the cause of the crash, Perez said.
