Fatal motorcycle crash closes I-35W northbound near downtown Fort Worth
All northbound lanes of Interstate 35W near downtown Fort Worth were closed to traffic early Monday morning because of a fatal crash that involved a motorcycle, authorities said.
The wreck was reported shortly before 5 a.m. on I-35W northbound between Lancaster Road and Interstate 30, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Traffic was being diverted onto I-30.
A 911 caller reported that one person died at the scene. Fort Worth police are investigating what caused the crash.
