Three people who were in the area of the Guadalupe River when it flooded in Central Texas earlier this month remained missing as of Saturday, authorities said.

Many people who were initially reported as missing in the July 4 flood have been verified to be safe and removed from a list of nearly 100 people for whom authorities had not accounted, according to the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities did not say whether the remaining missing people are adults or children.

At least 135 people died in July 4 flooding statewide, the Texas Tribune reported.

Among the dead were campers and counselors at Camp Mystic, a Christian girls summer camp on the Guadalupe River who were lost when a torrent of rain thrashed the region before sunrise.

Recovery teams continue to operate throughout the Guadalupe River watershed, according to the sheriff’s office.
