Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on Camp Bowie in west Fort Worth, police say

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Thursday evening, May 8, in west Fort Worth, police said.

Officers were called to a report of a major accident in the 6700 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard shortly after 5:30 p.m. The address is located near Riscky’s BBQ restaurant and a strip mall.

The person who was hit died at the scene of the crash, according to police. They will be publicly identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The driver remained at the site, police said. It’s not clear if they will face charges in connection with the crash.
