Fort Worth police investigating crash that killed 34-year-old woman

Fort Worth police are investigating a crash that killed a 34-year-old woman Wednesday, April 30.

Officers responded to a major accident in the area of E. Allen Avenue and South Freeway shortly before 8 a.m. Investigators believe a woman ran a red light and hit another vehicle, police said.

The woman was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, but died in the emergency room at 8:20 a.m. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has identified her as Angelica Flores of Fort Worth.

It’s not clear if anyone else was injured in the crash. The Traffic Investigations Unit has been notified, police said.
