Shooting leaves 1 in critical condition at a Fort Worth apartment

One person was shot at an East Fort Worth apartment on Wednesday, April 23, and is in critical condition, police said.

Officers responded to a shooting call in the 4800 block of Virgil Street at the Webber Garden Apartments around 4:30 p.m. When the officers arrived, they found a victim with a gunshot wound, police said.

The victim is being treated at an area hospital, police said. They are in critical condition, MedStar confirmed.

The suspect is not in custody at this time, police said.
