Fort Worth police looking for gunman who killed a man Monday off Camp Bowie West
Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that killed one man in west Fort Worth on Monday, April 21.
Police officers were called to the 3100 block of Sappington Place shortly before 9:45 p.m. and found a man with gunshot wounds. The location is the site of apartment complexes along Lackland Road near North Z Boaz Park.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries. Police did not have anyone in custody as of Tuesday morning.
Homicide detectives are investigating, according to police. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will publicly identify the victim.
