Police and the victim’s family are asking for the public’s help to find the person who killed a 21-year-old man who was shot in southwest Fort Worth on Thursday night.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the homicide victim as Maddox Moses Garza.

Fort Worth police said they were called to an apartment complex in the 6000 block of Portico Drive about 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 27. Officers found Garza in his car with a gunshot wound to his torso, according to police.

Garza was taken to a hospital, where he died in the emergency room from his injuries.

Police said the homicide unit is investigating the circumstances and the motive for the killing. No suspects have been arrested.
