Man killed in southwest Fort Worth shooting Thursday night, police say
Homicide detectives are investigating a Thursday night shooting that killed a man in southwest Fort Worth, police said.
Officers responded to the 6000 block of Portico Drive about 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 27. They found a man with a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to police. He will be publicly identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing, police said. No arrests have been announced, and the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
