In honor of Pi Day, here are deals in Fort Worth for pizza and dessert pies

Friday, March 14 is Pi Day, so why not score a deal on some pies?

Pi Day has rolled around every year since 1988 in celebration of the mathematical constant, π. The first three numbers of the equation are 3.14, which is why the nationally acknowledged day is always on March 14.

Deals are already out for pizza pies and pastry pies. You can take advantage of both for dinner and dessert.

Here’s what’s going on in Fort Worth.

Pi Day deals in North Texas

Mr. Gatti’s Pizza

  • At any Mr. Gatti’s location (including those in Walmarts).

  • Carryout or delivery of a medium 1-topping pizza for just $3.14

  • All day long (10:30/11 a.m. until 9 p.m.)

Sweet Lucy’s Pies

  • 3520 Bluebonnet Circle in Fort Worth

  • March 13: 3 slices for $14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • March 14: Buy three slices, get the fourth free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (extended hours for Pi Day)

  • Open Tuesday through Thursdays by appointment/orders. Open Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Grimaldi’s

  • The Shops at Clearfork: 5276 Monahans Ave. Suite J-200 in Fort Worth.

  • $3.14 for a large slice from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (toppings are 75 cents each)

JudyPie

  • 520 S. Main St. #200 in Grapevine

  • All pie slices for $3.15: Apple, cherry, cherry merlot, pecan, dirty judy, strawberry rhubarb, chocolate cream, key lime, creme brulee and raspberry rose

  • 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Buy one, get one for $3.14 on 11-inch pizzas
