Silver Alert canceled after 91-year-old Fort Worth man is found safe, police say

The Silver Alert issued for a missing Fort Worth man has been canceled after the 91-year-old was found safe in Granbury, police said.

The Fort Worth Police Department had asked for the public’s help to find Murray Dale Daugherty. He had last been seen in the 6100 block of Oakmont Trail on Monday, Feb. 24, according to a social media post.

The Silver Alert was issued Tuesday, Feb. 25, and canceled a short time later after Daugherty was found safe.

Police were concerned the 91-year-old might have been lost. Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4222.
