2 people injured when semi truck crashes into bridge at Texas 183 & 360 in Fort Worth
Two people were critically injured when a semi truck crashed and became stuck under a bridge on a Fort Worth highway, police said on Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to the crash about 12 p.m. Feb. 24 near the intersection of Texas 360 northbound and Texas 183 eastbound, police said. Another vehicle also reportedly was involved.
The two people who were injured were taken to a hospital by ambulance, a MedStar spokesperson said.
Traffic at the crash scene was shut down due to the active investigation, police said.
Police said they are also assessing the structural integrity of the bridge that the tractor-trailer hit.
Police said detectives from the Traffic Investigations Unit will determine what caused the crash.
