Victims of Forest Hill car lot shooting identified by family, Tarrant medical examiner

The victims killed in a shooting Feb. 21 at a Forest Hill car dealership have been identified, according to a funeral announcement and online records from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Hamzeh Jamal Almaani, 35, was one of the two people fatally shot Friday when a former employee of RK Auto Sales opened fire on the car lot on Mansfield Highway, according to police and the medical examiner.

The second victim was identified by family as Saed Khader, according to posts on family members’ Facebook pages and an announcement of prayers and funeral services for both men at Dar El-Eman Islamic Center in Arlington.

A third man wounded in the shooting was hospitalized in critical condition.

Forest Hill police arrested the ex-employee, 35-year-old Rafael Arreguin, in Fort Worth on Friday night.

Arreguin faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held in the Tarrant County Jail with bond set at $125,000, according to jail records.
