Now you can charge your phone for free at Billy Bob’s in the Fort Worth Stockyards
Billy Bob’s Texas’ new partnership will help ensure that its many guests stay connected.
The “World’s Largest Honky Tonk” and Verizon are working together to enhance fan experiences at the Fort Worth club. This includes free wireless charging stations around the venue, along with on-site activations for the latest Verizon technology.
Billy Bob’s has welcomed over 600,000 guests this year alone and the new partnership will help take things to another level, club general manager Marty Travis said.
“Everybody’s chasing boys, chasing girls, trying to find their friends and they’re running out of juice,” Travis said at a press conference Wednesday, Nov. 13. “We put free charging stations all throughout the club.”
Previously, Billy Bob’s had plug-in charging stations where guests could use their own cord or buy one from the club, Travis said.
Now, there are six free wireless charging stations around the club.
There’s stations near the bull riding arena, bar near the billiard tables, bar next to the honky tonk dance floor, one on either side of the showroom entrance and one in the showroom.
Speaking of the showroom: It has been renamed the “Verizon Showroom.”
Along with the rename, Billy Bob’s guests can expect to see new Verizon signage around the club, including a branded billiards table.
“Once again, I’m just happy that Billy Bob’s found a new sponsorship and has a new opportunity to showcase what we do with a new group of people, new group of friends,” Travis said.
Billy Bob’s Texas is open daily and will host Ray Wylie Hubbard on Friday, Nov. 15, and Clint Black on Saturday, Nov. 16.
