One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on car crash early Sunday, Oct. 27, near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Moberly Street, a Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson said.

Officers responded to a major accident call near the southeast Fort Worth intersection at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the spokesperson said. Two vehicles were involved in the accident.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

The deceased will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next-of-kin have been notified.

Officers with the department’s Traffic Investigations Unit are working to determine the cause of the crash.

The crash was the one of at least two deadly accidents in the city Sunday morning. A wrong-way crash killed five people and injured one on Loop 820 roughly three hours later, police said.
