Fort Worth police officer reported to be in good condition after crash, officials say

A Fort Worth police officer is reported to be in good condition after a major crash on Friday, Oct. 26, officials said.

The crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of Miller Avenue in east Fort Worth. The officer, who hasn’t been publicly identified, was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, police said.

A MedStar spokesperson confirmed that one person received minor injuries in the accident. The other individual was transported to a hospital in serious condition.

Footage from a Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV chopper showed a red sedan with major damage to the driver’s side. The police cruiser sustained damage to the front end.

Police didn’t give any details on the cause of the crash.
