A 46-year-old man operating a motorcycle died on Monday night when it crashed into the back of a sedan in east Fort Worth, police said.

A man operating a motorcycle died on Monday night when it crashed into the back of a sedan in east Fort Worth, police said.

The vehicles crashed about 9:30 p.m. at East Loop 820 South Freeway and East Berry Street.

The operator of the motorcycle, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as 46-year-old Damon Young, of Fort Worth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the sedan suffered injuries that are not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital.
