Van driver killed on Chisholm Trail Parkway in single-vehicle wreck in Fort Worth
One person was killed Thursday in a major traffic accident on Chisholm Trail Parkway just southwest of downtown of Fort Worth, police said.
The name of the driver has not been released by authorities.
The crash was reported just after 8 a.m. Thursday on northbound Chisholm Trail Parkway near Edwards Ranch Road.
A white van crashed into a guardrail, and the vehicle was smoking after the wreck, according to a police call log.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A traffic investigation unit will be conducting an investigation, police said.
Police have not released any other details on the crash.
