Fort Worth fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze Wednesday morning at a tent outside a church on the city’s south side, according to a tweet from the department.

The fire, which was outside the Christ-Life Christian Education Building at 6250 South Freeway, was put out in 20 minutes, according to the fire department. The tent was unoccupied at the time of the fire, about 7 a.m., and nobody was harmed, according to Star-Telegram media partner WFAA.

A spokesman for the fire department did not respond to requests for information on the fire.

WFAA reported the cause of the fire was still under investigation but that the fire department does not believe the blaze was a result of a lightning strike. The fire caused heavy smoke and fire inside the large tent structure.
