TCU hires new vice chancellor to manage finances, investments
Texas Christian University has completed its search for a new vice chancellor of finance and administration, according to a news release from the university.
William Nunez, who has more than 30 years of experience in financial, administrative, budgeting, facilities and educational leadership, has accepted an offer from TCU to fill the position.
TCU started a national search to fill the position that will be left open by Brian Gutierrez, who will be retiring after 16 years in January. Nunez will start his new role at the college Jan. 1.
Nunez most recently worked as vice chancellor of business and finance for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has more than 17 years of experience as a cabinet-level executive for a top 50 national public, Big Ten, Land Grant, research university and has been involved in influencing university and state policies, according to the release.
The college expects him to help lead TCU’s finances, work closely with leaders managing the college’s investments and act as treasurer for the board of trustees.
