New 252-room hotel open in Fort Worth features library, lounge and bar with local beers

Downtown Fort Worth has a new hotel taking reservations.

The 252-room, 16-story AC Hotel is now open near Sundance Square at the southwest corner of Main Street and Fifth Street.

Rooms are available now starting at $149 a night.

It’s the first AC Hotel in Tarrant County. The property is owned and developed by Jackson-Shaw and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Marriott owns the AC Hotels brand.

“The hotel features gallery-like art installations, a library, serene outdoor space and a bar that can also function as unconventional workspaces,” according to a release.

Among the amenities featured are a lounge, full bar serving local beers, a tapas-inspired menu, a European-style breakfast, a 24-hour wellness center and an independent coffee shop, which is scheduled to open later this year.
