Argument between two men turned fatal on Saturday in Fort Worth, according to police

An argument and physical fight on Saturday morning between two men in Fort Worth ended when one of them shot the other dead, police said.

Lueseais Steward, 40, was shot at the Eco Motel located at 3201 East Lancaster Avenue, according to a police report.

The assailant left the scene and was at large, Officer Jimmy Pollozani, a police spokesperson, wrote in an email.

Officers were dispatched about 9:15 a.m. to the shooting. The caller said that a person who had been shot was lying in front of the Eco Motel on that street, according to a police call log.

Officers found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, Pollozani said, and died shortly after he arrived.

Pollozani did not immediately release other information on the shooting.
