Second teen arrested, accused in June murder in north Fort Worth neighborhood
A Fort Worth teen has been arrested on a murder charge in a fatal shooting in north Fort Worth on June 28.
The 17-year-old is the second teen accused of being involved in the killing of Alejandro Garcia on June 28.
Alfredo Orta, 17, was booked into the Fort Worth Jail on Friday on a murder charge, according to jail records. He was in the Tarrant County Jail on Monday in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Just two weeks ago, Fort Worth homicide detectives talked to witnesses and tracked leads that led them to Jesus Diaz’s arrest on June 30.
Diaz, 18, of Sansom Park, was charged with murder on July 1, according to Tarrant County criminal court records. He was in the Tarrant County Jail on Monday in lieu of $100,000 bond.
