3 injured in fight, shooting involving juveniles in south Fort Worth, police say

Three people were injured in south Fort Worth on Monday night when a large fight broke out among a group of juveniles and shooting began, police said.

Two male juveniles were shot, police said. A female was injured from being hit with a gun.

All suspects were in custody Tuesday with the exception of one person, police said, though the department wouldn’t specify how many people were taken into custody.

Officers were dispatched to the reported shooting in the 4300 block of Greene Avenue about 9:05 p.m. Monday, according to a police call log. More than 35 units responded throughout Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Police didn’t say Tuesday morning what led to the fight or how many people were believed to have been firing rounds. The department also didn’t provide the ages of the victims or the suspects.

An update on the condition of the victims wasn’t immediately available.
