Police search for driver after man is killed in six-vehicle pileup in east Fort Worth
One man was killed Sunday night in a six-vehicle crash in far east Fort Worth, authorities said.
A driver involved in the crash fled the scene, police said Monday morning.
The name of the victim killed in the crash had not been released pending notification of his family.
The wreck was reported at 9:30 p.m. in the 14,900 block of Texas 183.
KXAS-TV reported a motorist pulled over to fix a flat tire and was struck by multiple vehicles. An 18-wheeler then collided with one of the vehicles in the pileup.
Police had not released any other details on the crash.
