A Fort Worth officer on a motorcycle was seriously injured in a crash involving another vehicle Thursday morning, police said.

The officer, who wasn’t identified, is a 15-year veteran of the department, with 10 years spent in the traffic division, the Fort Worth Police Department said in a news release. His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.

The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Camp Bowie Boulevard and Bigham Boulevard, police said. The department didn’t release details of the crash other than it involved the officer’s motorcycle and another vehicle.
