Teen critically wounded in Fort Worth shooting; several people detained
A teen was critically wounded Sunday evening in a shooting on South Sylvania Avenue, authorities said.
The name of the victim has not been released by authorities.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
Several people of interest were detained, police said, but no charges had been announced as of Monday.
The shooting was reported about 7 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of S. Sylvania Ave.
A resident reported that a man had been shot, according to a police call log.
The police call log noted the victim was an 18-year-old.
Police said Monday they would not release any other details because it was an ongoing investigation.
