Man, 19, killed when vehicle slams into guardrail in Fort Worth, authorities say

A 19-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning when the vehicle he was driving along East Loop 820 in Fort Worth slammed into a guardrail, authorities said.

Micah Camron Neal, of Watauga, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. There were three passengers in his vehicle who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officers responded around 12:50 a.m. to the crash in the 4800 block of East Loop 820 South Freeway, police said. Medical personnel declared Neal dead.

An initial investigation determined the vehicle had struck a guardrail, police said. It’s unclear if weather was a factor in the crash.

Traffic detectives are continuing to investigate the crash.
