A Fort Worth man who was missing for nine days was found unharmed on Wednesday, his family said.

Randy Wayne Don Callan, 28, was last seen on Jan. 27 in south Fort Worth, his aunt, Leonora Fernandes, said. She was concerned because no one had seen him and he was not been in touch with his 6-year-old daughter.

“That’s just unlike him, they have a very good, close bond. If he’s here in town, he would have already picked her up,” Fernandes said.

Callan lives in Fort Worth but works in Arizona. He flies back regularly and had just gotten back into town and was acting strangely.

Callan had been having a hard time, Fernandes said, and she was concerned about state of mind. Callan’s grandfather was in hospice and his mother and grandmother recently died, Garcia said.

Callan is outgoing, energetic and a kind person, Fernandes said.

“We just want to know he’s okay,” she said.

The family filed a missing person’s report with Fort Worth police on Thursday. An officer said police do not suspect foul play in Callan’s disappearance but could not release further details.
