A suspect is accused of repeatedly stabbing his 17-year-old sister at an apartment complex late Saturday, Fort Worth police said.

A 17-year-old was repeatedly stabbed by her brother late Saturday at an apartment complex in east Fort Worth, police said.

The teen was cut in the neck and chest and was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, police said. She was in serious condition after the attack, according to a MedStar spokesman. Her condition was not available Sunday.

Police responded to a cutting call shortly before 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5700 block of Meadowbrook Drive at the Delujo Spanish Village Apartment.

At the scene, officers learned the brother of the 17-year-old had stabbed her numerous times, authorities said. Police did not release a motive for the stabbing or whether an arrest had been made.
