Mineral Wells girl, 10, dies in Fort Worth crash

Fort Worth police said a 10-year-old girl died at a local hospital in Fort Worth Sunday evening after she was ejected from a vehicle in northeast Tarrant County. She was later identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office as Caydence Hubble of Mineral Wells, Texas.

A 10-year-old girl died at a Fort Worth hospital Sunday evening after she was ejected from a vehicle in a crash in northern Tarrant County.

The Tarrant County medical examiner's office identified the girl as Caydence Hubble of Mineral Wells.

Fort Worth police officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Golden Triangle Boulevard about 5:30 p.m. after a report of a major accident that included an an ejection. Police said the collision occurred on the northbound service road at North Freeway and Golden Triangle Boulevard.

Police said Hubble was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead by the medical examiner's office at 5:53 p.m.

A second child was also taken to the hospital with injuries considered minor.

Police continued to investigate. No further details were released.
