Four suspects indicted in killing of popular teen in White Settlement

Four suspects, including three brothers, were indicted Wednesday on capital murder charges in the killing of a popular teenager in White Settlement in September, according to court records.

Chase Nix, 24, Sean Garrison, 23, Tyee Garrison, 18, Kyle Garrison, 17, remain in the Tarrant County Jail with their bail amounts set at $200,000.

They were arrested in September in the shooting death of Xavier Olesko, 18, who had been a senior at Western Hills High School.

The shooting happened Sept. 18 in the 8100 block of Tumbleweed Trail in White Settlement, police said.

Detectives believed that Olesko and Sean Garrison were acquaintances and planned to meet that night.

The Garrison brothers — along with Nix, an acquaintance of the brothers — went to meet Olesko at the home on Tumbleweed Trail with plans to rob him, police said. During the encounter Olesko was shot.

Investigators believe that Olesko was temporarily living at the residence with friends and was in the back yard with some of them just before he was fatally wounded.

Witnesses told police that Olesko went around to the front of the residence to meet with someone. Then they heard a gunshot. Olesko’s friends said they ran to the front of the residence and saw Olesko lying motionless on the ground, police said. One of the witnesses called 911.

In an unrelated case, Sean Garrison faces a felony charge of injury to a child. He is accused of biting and bruising a two-year-old girl in March. Garrison and his fiance were babysitting the girl at the time, the victim’s mother told the Star-Telegram.
