Kroger is giving North Texas teachers free wellness kits. Here’s how to get one
Kroger will honor teachers during the back-to-school season by giving away free wellness kits at Dallas Fort Worth pharmacy locations this week until Aug. 17.
“Back-to-school season is one of the busiest times of the year for educators, and Kroger is demonstrating our care for teachers to help make the process this year just a little easier,” Kroger Texas Division President Rudy DiPietro said in a news release.
Here’s how Fort Worth teachers can get a kit and what’s included in each one.
What’s included in Kroger’s free wellness kit for teachers?
The free wellness kits feature $11 worth of wellness products.
“Each kit will include a personally curated mix of classroom essentials and self-care items designed to help teachers feel refreshed, supported and ready to take on the school year,” according to the news release.
Some example items that may be included in kits are:
- Disinfectant wipes
- Band-aids
- Tissues
- Hand sanitizer
- Hand soap
- Ibuprofen
- Alcohol swabs
- Bubble bath
- Body wash
- Epsom salt
- A loofah
- A snack variety pack

Teachers can can visit a Kroger location with a pharmacy in DFW to get the free wellness kit.

How to get a free Kroger wellness kit as a teacher
To get a free wellness kit, all teachers need to do is show their teacher ID or badge.
In fact, it doesn’t just apply to teachers.
“It’s [for] teachers, administrators, maintenance [workers], coaches and the lunch ladies,” says Votava. “We’re taking care of the people who take care of the community and our kids.”
School staff and faculty can obtain these free wellness kits until Sunday, Aug. 17.
