Classes canceled at Lake Worth High School because of flooding, school officials say

Classes have been canceled at Lake Worth High School this week because of flooding, school officials said.

School officials noted on Saturday that flooding had occurred in the main building of the school, 4210 Boat Club Road, in Lake Worth.

Grades pre-kindergarten through eighth grade will return to school Monday as scheduled.

Lake Worth High students can pick up meal bundles Monday through Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by the athletic facilities. Students must show proof of enrollment at Lake Worth High School.

Instructional days at the school will be made up on the following days: Feb. 18, Feb. 21, March 21 and May 27. During those days, regular attendance policies and procedures are expected, school officials said.
