Man shot to death in east Fort Worth apartment building parking lot, police say
A man was shot to death late Tuesday in the parking lot of an apartment building in east Fort Worth, police said.
The man, whose name and age the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released, was slain about 11:45 p.m. at the Riverwalk apartment complex in the 1400 block of Carol Oaks Lane, according to Fort Worth police.
Police detained several people at the scene, and the homicide investigation was underway on Wednesday morning. Police did not announce an arrest in the case.
The victim was laying on the ground in the parking lot when officers arrived. He was pronounced dead there.
