The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday charged a man with murder in connection with a killing last week in west Fort Worth.

Reynaldi Moore is implicated in the June 14 shooting death of Archie Anderson at a condominium, according to a Tarrant County District Clerk‘s Office record. Anderson’s death was caused by a gunshot wound of the back, a Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office pathologist concluded. Anderson was 40.

Moore, who is 33, was arrested in the hours after the killing near Ridglea Country Club.

A Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson acknowledged a reporter’s request for a copy of the affidavit supporting an arrest warrant for Moore, but did not release the affidavit, a document that describes a detective’s investigative steps and evidence in a case.

Beyond murder, the district attorney’s office charged Moore with possession on the day of the homicide of between one gram and just less than four grams of methamphetamine.

Anderson was shot to death in the 4000 block of Ridglea Country Club Drive, police said.

The shooter left the homicide scene before an officer arrived.

A state district court judge set Moore’s bond on the murder count at $250,000.
